Version 1

Terms of Service

Entity
AHLOOP LLC d/b/a Anon
Effective date
May 1, 2026

These Version 1 Terms are designated effective May 1, 2026. For each user, they become binding only when that user affirmatively accepts them through an authorized Anon product on or after publication. They do not create retroactive acceptance, and merely viewing a public Anon website does not constitute acceptance.

Download canonical textPermanent versionLegal manifest

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to websites, browser extensions, mobile applications, APIs, hosted .anon.buzz profiles, wallet software, and related features made available by AHLOOP LLC d/b/a Anon ("Anon," "we," "us," or "our") (collectively, the "Services").

By affirmatively accepting these Terms, you enter into a binding agreement with AHLOOP LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Some software functions may interact directly with public blockchains or third-party systems that Anon does not control.

1. Acceptance and changes

These Terms become binding when you receive this version and affirmatively accept it through an authorized Anon product. Anon may retain a consent receipt that binds the accepted version and document hash to your wallet signature. Merely browsing a public website does not constitute acceptance.

We may revise these Terms by publishing a new, separately versioned document. If a revision materially affects your rights or obligations, we will present it for renewed acceptance before requiring it for affected hosted features. Corrections and nonmaterial updates will still receive a new version, but may not require renewed acceptance where permitted by law.

2. Eligibility, territorial availability, and lawful use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

The Services are offered worldwide only where their distribution and use are lawful. Availability in a location is not a representation that every feature or transaction is lawful there. You are responsible for determining whether your use is permitted by the laws that apply to you.

You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable sanctions, export-control, anti-money-laundering, or other laws; are not located in a country or region subject to a comprehensive United States government embargo where providing the Services is prohibited; and are not identified on an applicable United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties. We may restrict hosted features when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect users and the Services.

3. Self-custody and wallet security

Anon provides self-custodial wallet software. We do not take custody of your recovery phrase, private keys, or digital assets, and generally cannot recover, reverse, freeze, or redirect a blockchain transaction. Anon is not a bank, broker, exchange, investment adviser, fiduciary, or money-transmission service merely because it supplies wallet software.

You are responsible for securing your devices, recovery phrase, PIN, passkeys, biometric configuration, and wallet credentials; confirming addresses, networks, tokens, amounts, fees, and contract calls; maintaining backups; and complying with laws that apply to you. Never provide a recovery phrase or private key to anyone claiming to represent Anon.

4. Profiles and .anon.buzz names

Hosted profiles and .anon.buzz names are service identifiers, not property rights, legal identities, trademarks, or guarantees of a person's identity. You must not impersonate others, violate rights, mislead users, or acquire names primarily to extort a rights holder.

You are responsible for profile content and linked addresses. We may remove content, suspend hosted access, or release a name when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, address fraud or infringement, comply with law, or protect the Services. Verified profile deletion releases the associated .anon.buzz username immediately. Release does not guarantee that the former user or anyone else can register it again; availability may be affected by reservations, disputes, technical conditions, and applicable policies, and blockchain or third-party copies may persist.

5. Blockchain, asset, and privacy risks

Digital assets and blockchain systems are experimental and may be volatile, irreversible, unavailable, compromised, forked, exploited, censored, or changed without notice. Smart contracts, bridges, tokens, networks, relayers, RPC providers, privacy pools, zero-knowledge systems, and third-party applications may fail or behave unexpectedly.

Privacy features do not guarantee anonymity. Public records, timing, counterparties, network traffic, account reuse, device compromise, third parties, and legal process can reveal information. Regulatory treatment may change and may affect availability or value. You accept these risks and must independently evaluate whether a transaction or feature is appropriate for you.

6. Transactions, fees, and taxes

You authorize transactions by signing them. Network fees, protocol fees, exchange rates, slippage, price impact, relayer costs, and taxes may apply and may be paid to third parties. Estimates are not guarantees. Except where required by law, blockchain and third-party fees are nonrefundable once incurred.

You are solely responsible for determining and satisfying tax reporting and payment obligations arising from your activities. Anon does not provide tax, legal, or investment advice.

7. Third-party services

The Services may display, integrate with, or link to blockchains, protocols, applications, token issuers, app stores, hardware, infrastructure, or content operated by third parties. Those services are not controlled by Anon and may have separate terms, privacy notices, fees, and risks.

A link, token listing, quote, integration, or interface does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee. You are responsible for evaluating third parties and their contracts before interacting with them.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use or attempt to use the Services to:

  • Violate law, sanctions, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, contractual restrictions, or the rights of another person.
  • Commit fraud, theft, money laundering, terrorist financing, market manipulation, evasion, harassment, exploitation, or other unlawful conduct.
  • Distribute malware, steal credentials, compromise accounts, probe systems without authorization, evade access controls or rate limits, or interfere with the Services.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent control of an address or profile, spam users, scrape nonpublic information, or automate access in a manner that burdens the Services.
  • Use the Services to provide a regulated financial service without every authorization required for that activity.

9. Licenses, content, and feedback

Subject to these Terms, Anon grants you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the software and hosted interfaces for their intended purpose. Open-source and source-available components remain governed by their applicable licenses.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Anon a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights required to provide it.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, you permit Anon to use it without restriction or compensation, subject to applicable law.

10. Availability, updates, and suspension

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue hosted or software features, and availability may vary by device, jurisdiction, network, or integration. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or continued support for any blockchain, token, protocol, network, or third-party service.

We may suspend or restrict hosted access when we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, enforcement, or protection of users. Self-custodial assets remain controlled by the relevant keys and networks, not by a hosted Anon account.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." ANON DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

ANON DOES NOT WARRANT THAT A TRANSACTION WILL COMPLETE, THAT DATA OR ASSETS WILL BE RECOVERABLE, THAT PRIVACY WILL BE PRESERVED, OR THAT SOFTWARE, NETWORKS, SMART CONTRACTS, PROOFS, PROVIDERS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR SAFE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANON AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF ASSETS, KEYS, PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM BLOCKCHAINS, SMART CONTRACTS, THIRD PARTIES, SECURITY EVENTS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ANON AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND PROVIDERS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO ANON FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits that limitation. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by the law governing your claim.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, if you use the Services for business purposes or on behalf of an organization, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anon and its affiliates, personnel, and providers from third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

For an individual acting primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, this obligation applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law and only to third-party claims caused by that individual's knowing unlawful conduct, infringement, or material breach of these Terms.

Anon will provide reasonable notice of an indemnified claim and may control its defense. Anon may not settle a claim in a way that requires you to admit wrongdoing, pay an amount not covered by the indemnity, or accept a continuing nonmonetary obligation without your consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld.

14. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Services and may request verified deletion of a hosted profile through available controls. Deletion does not reverse blockchain transactions, delete public-chain records, remove third-party copies, or erase records that Anon must or is permitted to retain under applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive remain effective, including ownership, licenses already granted, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute resolution, and record-retention terms.

15. Mobile applications and app stores

If you obtain an Anon application through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another distributor, you must comply with the distributor's applicable terms. These Terms are between you and AHLOOP LLC, not the distributor, and AHLOOP LLC is responsible for the application and its content.

For an application obtained through Apple, the license in Section 9 is limited to a nontransferable license to use the application on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules, including applicable Family Sharing or volume-purchasing rules. AHLOOP LLC, not Apple, is responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

To the extent a warranty cannot be disclaimed, AHLOOP LLC is responsible for that warranty. If an Apple-distributed application fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the application.

AHLOOP LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing product-liability, legal-compliance, consumer-protection, privacy, and intellectual-property claims concerning an Apple-distributed application. You must comply with applicable third-party agreements when using the application. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Section and may enforce it upon your acceptance of these Terms.

No app store or distributor is responsible for the operation of Anon's hosted Services, blockchain networks, third-party protocols, or transactions. Terms required by a distributor or by mandatory law in your jurisdiction apply in addition to these Terms, and the mandatory term controls if there is a conflict.

16. Electronic communications and signatures

You agree that account, security, legal, and service notices may be provided electronically through the Services, on an Anon website, or through contact information you supply. Transactional and legally required communications are separate from optional marketing messages. You may withdraw marketing consent without losing access to core features.

A cryptographic signature confirms control of a wallet key at the time of signing; it does not prove a person's civil identity. Anon may retain the exact signed message and related receipt as evidence of acceptance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Dispute resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you and Anon agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. A notice to Anon should be sent to [email protected] and describe the dispute, the affected profile or wallet address if relevant, and the relief requested. This informal process does not extend or shorten any limitation period unless applicable law provides otherwise.

If the dispute is not resolved, either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court or another court with jurisdiction. These Terms do not require pre-dispute arbitration, waive a jury trial, or waive participation in a class or representative action where such rights are available under applicable law.

After a dispute arises, you and Anon may mutually agree in writing to mediation, arbitration, or another resolution process. Either party may seek temporary or emergency relief from a court when reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized access, security harm, or infringement while a dispute is being resolved.

18. Governing law and forum

These Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent another law must apply.

Subject to mandatory consumer rights, proceedings that are not brought in an eligible small-claims court must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the parties consent to that court's jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of non-waivable protections or a right to bring or defend a claim in your home jurisdiction when applicable law grants that right.

19. General terms

You may not assign these Terms without Anon's prior written consent. Anon may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services, subject to mandatory law and without reducing rights that cannot lawfully be reduced.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Headings are for convenience only. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for obligations that cannot lawfully be excused.

These Terms and any service-specific terms expressly incorporated into them are the complete agreement concerning the Services and replace prior agreements concerning the same subject. The Privacy Policy describes how Anon handles information. If a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls where permitted by law.

You must comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws. Except for Apple and its subsidiaries as stated in Section 15, these Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights.
